[f.132r] ‘Upon the humble petition of Edward Handcock of Oakhampton a Soldier maimed in the Service of his late Majestie King Charles the First This Court doth order that the Treasurer for the maimed Souldiers of this county doe forthwith pay vnto the said Edward Handock a gratuety of Five shillings & that hee trouble this Court noe more.’
