‘Edmund Wylde who was last settled at Hungry Swanton [Swanton Novers] & was there pressed for a souldier & cam[e] wounded out of the service & came to this Citty to be cured & kept at Thomas Wyldes & being now cured is ordered to returne to Hungry Swanton w[i]th his wife who cam[e] out of Ireland & maryed the said Wide here. And that he doe dep[ar]t this Citty with his wife within six dayes now next ensuing & not returne hether agayne to make any aboade there upon payne to be p[u]nished att post unlesse he can in the meane tyme give good security to discharge the Citty of him his wife & Child that they shall not be charge able to this Citty.’
