Unfoliated: 'Yt is ordered by this Court that the Churchwardens and Ovseers of the poore wthin the psh of Ribchester shall forthwth upon notice hereof make pvision aswell for the manteynance & sustentacon of Dorothy Barton of Steed & her two smale children, whose husband was prst for the township of Dutton to goe for the Service in Ireland and now shee hath noe meanes left for the manteynance of her selffe & two little Children in some good and Competent manner soe as they shall not beg as alsoe a convenient place of habitacon for her & her Children under the pane of xxs amonth to bee Imposed and levyed upon them making default.'
