‘Whereas Dennis Tamlyn of Christow a maymed souldier was formerly allowed a pencion of 50 s. per annum, vpon examinacion & Certificate made by Sir William Courtenay, Sir Francis Drake Baronets and Sir Edward Wise knight of the bath It is ordered that the Treasurer for the maymed souldiers shall pay vnto the said Dennis Tamlyn the arreares of his said pencion home vnto this present sessions and from henceforth the summe of three pounds per annum till further order.’
