f. 54: Whereas Danyell Wright, soldier under the Earl of Manchester, who was shot and sore wounded in his side and arm, and has lain in great pain in the house and at the charge of Widow Gill (who is a very poor woman), we the Committee do require you Mr Turner to pay unto Joseph Burcke, constable, towards the discharge of the said widow, for keeping the said soldier 10 s. – we say 10 s. Gabriel Barber, John Dalton, major, William Carter.
