‘Vpon the humble peticion of Daniell White of Sidbury an aged & very impotent person who is already allowed a pencion of 20 s. per annum as a maymed souldier and vpon the Certificate of Sir Peter Prideaux Baronet & Edmond Walrond esquire that hee is a person fitt to have his said pencion augmented and vpon Mr Woolcotes vndertaking on the behalfe of himselfe & the rest of the parishioners of Sydbury aforesaid that the said parishioners will pay 4 s. a moneth towards the releife & subsistance of the said Daniell White It is ordered that the Treasurer for the maymed souldiers doe pay vnto him 20 s. a yeare more in all 40 s. per annum by quarterly payments till further order and the said Sir Peter Prideaux and Mr Walrond are desired to see the said 4 s. monethly bee duely paid as aforesaid.’
