"Whereas it appeareth … that Daniell Potter of Hemiocke was a souldier in the service of the common wealth under the Command of Captain John Pley who was wounded neere Bridport by which he hath lost the use of one of his Armes soe as he is disinabled to get a livelihood by his labour. It is therefore ordered that the Treasurer … from henceforth pay … three pounds yearly for his pencion … & to receive fifteen shillings at present."
