[f.112] ‘Vpon the humble petition of Charles Martin of Ottery St Mary in this county weaver a Souldier maimed in the Service of his late Majestie King Charles the first This Court doth order that the Treasurer for the maimed Souldiers of this county doe henceforth pay vnto the said Charles Martin a pencion of Thirty Shillings per annum by quarterly payments vntill further order Soe that the officers of the said parish provide for him according to his need soe that the Same Shall appeare to this Court att the next generall Sessions.’
