Notes

fols 40-1: Whereas Bridgett Robinson, the widow of John Robinson (who had faithfully served Charles I), had previously received a gratuity of £4, she now petitioned for further relief. It was ordered that Mr Partridge, the current Treasurer for the hundreds of Osulstone, Edmonton and Gore, certify to the next Quarter Sessions if there was any surplusage remaining in his hands and the Court would then consider her case.
