[f.137r] ‘Vpon the humble petition of Bartholomew Monk of Milton Abbott in this County a Souldier maimed in his late Majesties service This Courte doth order that the Treasurer for the maimed Souldiers of this County doe henceforth pay vnto the said Bartholomew Monk a pencion of thirty shillings per annum by quarterly payments vntill further order.’
