"Whereas it appeareth … that Arthur Tucker of St Davies in Exon hath beene active in the service of the common wealth under the command of Major Thomas Saunders, Captain James Richards & others, in which service he was wounded in his arme & decrepit in his lyms soe that he is not able to follow his calling, but is utterly ruined, It is therefore ordered that the Treasurer … doe forthwith pay … Thirty shillings for his present releife."
