"Whereas it appeareth … that Anthony Tayler of Collompton hath beene imployed in the service of the common wealth both in England & Ireland under the comand of Colonell Were, Major Generall Massey, Captain Newbery & Captain Joyner where he received manie hurts by a shott in his head & in many other parts of his bodie whereby he is utterly unable to subsist but is likely to perishe for want, It is therefore ordered that ye Treasurer … doe forthwith pay … three pounds for his present maintenance & to be farther considered of when he shall procure a certificate from a Commissionate officer."
