Notes that an order was issued at last Michaelmas sessions that the town of Birmingham should pay Griffin 20 d. a week towards the maintenance of herself and her children (her husband Robert Griffin, who had been from Birmingham, having been killed in parliament's service), but that Birmingham had refused to pay since last Easter. Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor in Birmingham should attend the Justices of the Peace at their next monthly meeting at Coleshill and explain why.
