‘Upon a peticon pr[e]ferred to this Court by Ann Danham a poore widdow shewinge that her husband was pressed into the publique service for the Com[m]on wealth about tenn or Eleaven yeares since & now it is c[er]tainely reported that her said husband is dead in Ireland & hath hath left her in much poverty & two children to maintaine & keep, who prayed this Court to com[m]isserate her sad condicon & to allow her something towards the maintenance of her, & her two children which this Court thought fittinge & desire Edward Bulwer & Wil[ia]m Stewart Esq[uire]s two of the Justices of the peace of this County to take such order for her releife as they shall thinck thinck fitt.’
