Mr. Andrew Miller of Chepping Wycomb had received the pension of £2 per annum ‘for some yeares since past… And the reason of his Penc[i]on was grounded upon his dutifull and active service to his late Ma[jes]tie King Charles the second and therefore the same might be increased to Excuse him from takeing Relief from the parish which otherwise he must have Recours to. And it appearing by the testimony of credible p[er]sons that he had for many years lived in very good Reputac[i]on and been very usefull in the place where he is until his Poverty rendered him uncapable.’ His pension was increased to £4 per annum, and 2 s. 6 d. for a copy of this order.
