Noted that Day was 'an ancient Inhabitant of the Parish of Birmingham in this County, and that he is growne poore & hath a wife and Three children to mayntayne & yt in regard of the Dearth of provision & deadness of Tradeing, as also his inability to worke in respect of sev[er]all Wounds received by him in the Parliam[en]ts service, he cannot provide for himselfe and family without some releif'. Ordered that Day's condition be considered by Birmingham parish, requiring that relief is afforded to him as is suitable to their necessities. If they fail to do this, the court will order them to pay 'what shall be Just and reasonable'.
