f.29: 'By the Committee for the County of Cambridge, These are to require you to pay unto Abell Seatre lately a drummer in Colonel Barkester’s [Barkstead’s] Regiment, now sick in Cambridge and in want, the sum of three shillings out of the third part of sequestration money; and this shall be your warrant and discharge. Dated the 16 March Anno Domini 1648 [1649]. Addressed to Richard Pettit, treasurer for the third part of sequestrations. Signed by Thomas Duckett, Dudley Pope, Robert Clerke, Robert Castell and M Dalton. Abell Clarke acknowledges receipt of 3 s. the same day.
