Sexto die Januarii anno domini 1650
Receiued then by mee Gryffyth ap Jenn Lewis one of the maymed souldiers of the countye of Carnarvon from the hands of John Ellis of Pullhely as from the worshipfull Gryffyth Jones of Castellmarch esquire one of the Treasurers for the maymed souldiers of the sayd countye for the years of our lord 1649 and 1650 the sume of three poundes of lawfull English monye in full satisfaction of my stipend or pention due vnto mee for the aforesayd years as a maymed souldier of the sayd countie. I saye received the sume of iii li.
