The warrant for David Lewis of Denbigh, Denbighshire, 11 August 1673

Knowe all men by these pr[e]sents that I David Lewis Late of Denbigh & now a souldier in his Ma[jes]ties one Guard doe for my selfe Nominat Constitute & ordeyne my trusty & welbeloued freind Owen Thomas of Denbigh in the County of Denbigh gent[leman] To be my true & lawfull Atturney in my name & for my use to Aske, demand & receive of [blank] All such sume or or [sic] sumes of money as is or shal be due vnto me from the treasurer of the County of Denbigh for my Pencion graunted me the said David Lewis by the wor[shi]p[fu]ll the Justices of the peace for the said County which is, Three Pounds p[e]r Ann[um] & vpon Receipt to give accquittance or discharge for the said sume rattiefieing & allowing whatsoe[ue]r my said Atturney shall doe in my name & for my use as if I weare my selfe p[er]sonally p[re]sent. In wittnesse wheareof I haue herevnto put my hand & seale the xith day August in the xxvth yeare of our [sic.] Reyne Ann Dom[i]n[i] 1673
