The petition for Richard Teasdale of Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, 1691

These are to certify whome it may concern yt Richard Teasdale of the p[ar]ish of Barkhamsted St Peter in the County of Hertford, having been an old maimed souldier in ye time of King Charles ye first, is by reason of his great Age & incapacity to work, reduce’t to extream poverty.

Wee therfore judge it fit, yt his pension should be inlarged if there be money sufficient in ye hands of ye Treasurer of ye said County in that behalf

Attested as above certify’d by us ye Inhabitants of Barkhamsted St Peter
