The order for William Yates, Cheshire, 8 October 1672

Ad General[is] Session[es] pacis tent apud Neither Knutsford in Com[itatus] Cestr[iae] 8o Octob[e]r Anno R[egnum]R[egis] Car[oli] sec[undi] nunc Anglie &c xxiiiio coram Petro Leycester Thoma Mainwaring Bar et Phillippo Egerton Galfido Shakerley Milit[es] et aliis saiis suis Justic die D[o]m[i]ni Regis ad pacem in Com[itatus] pr[e]d[icti] tened[um] nei non ad diversa Fellon[iis] transgr: &c assignat[a]
Forasmuch as it appears to this Court that William Yates Formerly a pentioner in this County hath beene absent out of this County seuerall ueares and upon suspition that hee was dead his pention was suspended. And now it appeareing to this Court that the said William Yates is dead alive It is ordered by this Co[u]rt that the sayd William Yates shall receiue all the arreares of his sayd pention and bee continued a pentioner and receiue all his pention for the tyme to come

to haue his arreares for 6 yeares next sess[ion]s unles it appeare then that hee hath an estate to subsist
That the arreares [illegible] by the pet[itione]r remain in the treas[urers] hands till next Sess[ions] & that then hee make it to appeare that hee ought to know his penc[i]on & in the meane tyme search to bee made.
