Ad gen[er]al[em] Session[es] pacis Domi[ni] Regis tent[em] apud Castru[m] Exon[iensis] in & pro Com[itatu] pred[icti] vicesimo octavo die Aprilis Anno Regni Regis Jacobi secundi nunc Anglie &c primo 1685.

Vpon the humble petition of William Hutchings of Modbury in this county a soldier maimed in his late Ma[jes]ties service This C[ou]rt doth thinke fitt and ord[e]r yt the Tr[easur]er for the maimed soldiers of this county doe henceforth pay vnto the said William Hutchings a penc[i]on of Forty shillinges p[er] annu[m] by quarterly payments vntill further order
