General[is] Sessio[nes] pac[is] d[o]m[ini] Reg[is] tent apud Wich Malbanc in Com[itatus] pr[ed]i[c]t[i] nono die Julii Anno R[egni]R[egis] Carol[i] sec[un]di nunc Angl[iae] &c xxiiiio Coram Phil[lippo] Egerton Joh[ann]e[s] Arderne Galfrido Shakerley mil[ites] Thom[a] Cholmondeley et Willo[mo] Davenport Ad Justic dict[i] d[o]m[i]ni Regis ad pacem infra Com[itatus] pr[e]d[icti] conservand nei non ad diu[ersa] felon[iis] transgr: et al malefact in eod Com[itatus] p[er]petrat audiend et terminand assignant &c
Whereas it is alledged by the humble petic[i]on of seu[er]all penc[i]on[e]rs remaineing vpon record that they form[e]rly rec[eive]d fourty shillings p[er] ann[um] by ord[e]r of this Co[u]rt for their respectiue penc[i]on[er]s & that they are reduced to xxx s. p[er] ann[um] & that it is also alledged by the pet[itione]rs that consid[e]rable somes of money remaine in the hands of the Tre[as]ur[er]s for prison[e]rs & maymed souldyers vpon the death of seu[er]all Penc[i]on[e]rs, And that the scope of their petic[i]on is for the enlargem[en]t of their penc[i]ons as form[er]ly, It is therefore thought fitt & soe ord[e]red by this Co[u]rt that the Justices of the Peace of this County doe call before them the seu[er]all Penc[i]on[e]rs att their moneths meetings to bee held for their respectiue hundreds, And they are hereby desired to examine the Condic[i]on of the seu[er]all Penc[i]on[e]rs & what Penc[i]ons they receiue, And that the Trea[sure]rs for the prison[e]rs & maymed souldyers doe giue an accounte before them of what money remainies in their hands, And also that report hereof bee made att the next Gen[er]all Quarter Sessions of the Peace to bee holden for the sayd County.
