The order for Roger Darrowe of Pennington, Lancashire, 14 October 1672

Whereas Roger Darrowe of Penington in the County of Lanc[aste]r yeom[an] was formerly serjent to S[i]r Thomas Tildesley and afterwardes serjeant to S[i]r Henry Slaters owne Company and is now Corporall to the Lord of Darbye his owne Company, and for his good service hee hath done for his Majestie for seu[er]all yeares last past hee hath beene ordered the yearely payem[en]t of Tenne shillinges to bee paid by the Kinges Treasurer for the Maimed soldiers, but vpon our further Consid[e]rac[i]on therein Wee his Majesties Justices of peace & Quor[u]m whose names are subscribed doe hereby order and award the Kinges Treasurer for the maimed souldiers to pay vnto the said Roger Darrowe the yearely sume of Five and Twentye shillinges att one entire payment Given vnder our handes the Foureteenth day of October Anno R[egni]R[egis] Carol[i] S[e]c[un]di ninc Anglie &c xxiiiito Anno[que] Dom[ini] 1672
