The order for Roger Allen of London (St Sepulchre Parish), City of London, 10 April 1676

Ad Gen[er]al[em] Quarterial[em] Session[em] pacis D[omi]ni Regis tent[am] p[ro] Civitat London p[ro] Adiornament apud Guihald eiusd[e]m Civitat die Lune scil[ice]t decimo die Aprilis Anno R[egni] R[egi]s Caroli S[e]c[un]di nunc Angl[ie] &c vicesimo octavo.
Whereas Itt appeareth to his Ma[jes]ties Justices here pr[e]sent that Roger Allen formerly dwelt and was settled in the Parish of St Sepulchres London And that the said Roger Allen served in his late Ma[jes]tyes Warrs vnder the Com[m]and of Captaine Robert Fry And had never deserted his service to his said Ma[jes]tye or his Ma[jes]tye that now is as by the Certificate thereof may appeare And the said Roger Allen being a very poore man and desireing releife according to the Act of Parliament in that behalfe Itt is now ordered by this Courte that the said Roger Allen shall have a penc[i]on of Forty Shillings yearely by quarterly payments paid to him for his releife by the Tre[asure]r for maimed Souldiers w[i]thin this Citty and the Lib[er]tyes thereof out of the moneys assessed and received for that purpose after the death of the first ane next penc[i]oner w[i]thin this Citty now haveing releife according to the said Act.
