To the Overseers of Staplehurst and to the Churchwardens

Forasmuch as Richard Peerelesse of Sapleherst [sic.] was pressed for the service in Ireland, and from thence returned maymed as by his passe vnder his Collonells Hand doth appeare, wee doe hereby Require you or some one of you, to provide for him, vntill order be taken for him at the next Quarter Sessions of the peace holden at Maydstone, given vnder our Hands at Cranebroke this 4th of Aprill 1653
