To John winne and Francis Manley Esq[ui]r[e]s Treasurers of ye maymed souldiers for ye Countie of Denbigh

Forasmuch as we have received testimony by certificate vnder ye hands of Major Francis Manley and Capt[ain] Ellis Sutton yt John ap John of Wrexham in ye said Countie weaver hath faithfully and Constantly served his late Ma[jes]tie of blessed memorie as a souldier dureing ye late warrs in which service he was shott whereby he hath loste his heath and yt he hath wasted his estate in ye said service by reason whereof he hath not wherewithall to mainetayne himselfe his wife and Children it is therefore ordered yt ye said treasurers or one of them doe forthwith paye to the said John ap John ye sum[m]e of five shillings towards the maintenance of him and his family vntill ye next quarter Sessions, and that then he may be recom[m]ended to ye Bench for such yearly Pension as they shall thinke fitt Given vnder our hands and seals ye 3th thirteenth daye of June in ye 16th yeare of his Ma[jes]ties Raigne 1664
