The order for Henry Chaplyn of Downham Market, Norfolk, 20 March 1645

xx Marcij 1644.
[Memorandum] For that the Inhabitants of Downham directed Henry Chaplyn to come to this Comittee & refuse to give any effcouragem[en]t Incouragem[en]t to volunteers wheras they should have required him to repayre to his Colors we therfore require the Constables ther to take care of him & his wife & children & afford him sume relief dureinge his staye & vntill he a Conductor be sent for him & others & after he be gone to his Colors they are to take care & afford sume relief to his wife & children in ther his absence as they will answere the contrary att ther p[er]ills
<That the Churchwardens & ou[er]seers of Downham shall p[ro]uide for the wife & Children of the petic[i]on[er], & if any refuse the next Justice to bynd ou[er] them that refuse &c to the next Sess[ion]s &c>
