The order for Gawther Barton of Aughton, Lancashire, 13 October 1674

Ad Sessionem Pacis D[o]mi[n]i Regis Tent apud Wiggan in Com[itatus] Lance[ster] die Lune (viz) decimo Tertia die Octobris Anno R[egni] R[eguis] D[o]m[in]i Caroli S[ec]u[n]di Anli[e] &c Vicesimo Sexto 1674

It is ordered by this Court That Gawther Barton of Aughton a very poore maimed & Indigent Soldjer whoe faithfully Served his maj[es]tie That now is & his Royall Father in the Late vnhappy warrs and as yet hath had noe penc[i]on (the moneyes allowed to the poore & maimed & Indigent Souldjers According to the Act of Parliam[en]t being all of it distributed to the said Soldjers) shall have the first penc[i]on that falls next after the date hereof & the Treasurer for the maimed Soldjers is to take notice thereof & without further or other order to pay it to him the said Gawther Barton accordingly.
