To Thomas Pritchard gent[leman] clarke of the Peace for the County of Denbigh

Forasmuch as it doth appeare vnto vs that the bearer hereof Edward ap Thomas of Bedwall in the said county yeo[man] was impressed into his late Ma[jes]tys seruice as a soldier vnder ye Comand of S[i]r Charles Vavasor deceased and after that was Corporall of foot vnder ye Comand of Major Thomas in the service of his sayd late Ma[jes]ty And that for diuers yeares during the late warrs he was abroad vpon the seruice of his said late M{ajesty} {illegible} did always behaue {illegible} to his duty {illegible} indigent not having (illegible) himself his wife and child, and that he hath always to ye best of our knowledge continued loyall

These are therfore to require you to enter him into the list of ye maymed soldiers for the said County and to allow him the sum[m]e of five shillings quarterly the first paym[en]t to begin from ye last quarter sessions And this to Continue till further Order for w[hi]ch this shal be yo[u]r war[ran]t Giuen vnd[e]r our hands & seales the 10th day of Nov[ember] 1663.
