Die Mercurii 4to Sept[embris] 1644.

A L[ette]re in the way of a Petition from Colonell James Wardloe late Governour of the Towne of Plymouth directed to the Howse of Commons was this day read, And it is Ordered vpon the Question, that it be referred to S[i]r Henry Vane Senior & Mr Blackiston to provide 200 li to be paid vnto the said Colonell James Wardloe & Deducted out of the Arreares due vnto him for his Service in the Lord Generalls Army as a Colonell of a Regiment, and Captaine of a Companie of Dragoones, this is to be paied vnto him in regard of his greate Infirmitie incurred by his Service, & that he is vpon his sudden repaire into his Owne Country.
