Wee think fitt that Arthur Kay of Red Lumme in the Parish of Rachdale yeoman shall haue and receiue the sum of Fourty shillings p[er] annu[m] as a pention for his service donne for his Late Ma[jes]tie King Charles ye first & for o[u]r pr[e]sent Sov[e]raigne L[or]d that now is King Charles ye Second to commence from ye date hereof and to be paid by ye pr[e]sent Treasurer of Salford hundred for the tyme being:
