Ad gen[er]al[em] Session[em] pacis domi[ni] Regis tent apud Castru[m] Exon[iensis] in & pro Com[itatu] pred[icto] decimo tertio die Januarij Anno R[egni] R[egi]s Caroli se[cun]di nunc Anglie &c xxxvjth 1684

Vpon the humble petition of Allin Nicholls of Tavistoke in this county A soldier pr[e]tended to bee maimed in his late Ma[jes]ties Service This C[ou]rt doth desire the Justices of the peace of yt Division or any 2 of them to enquire whither the s[ai]d petition[e]r were actually wounded or maimed in his s[ai]d Ma[jes]ties Service and if soe yt they certify ye same att the next gen[era]ll Sessions & upon such Certificate the s[ai]d petition[e]r is to receiue a penc[i]on of Thirty shillinges p[er] annu[m] by quarterly payments vntill further ord[e]r
