The order for Alexander Councell, residence unknown, 23 March 1643

At the Comittee of lords and Comons for ye Safety of the Kingdome.
These are to will and require you forthw[i]th out of the treasure remayning in yo[u]r hands to pay vnto Alexander Councell Gent the sume of Fortyye pounds, w[hi]ch is for two horses w[hi]ch he brought at his owne charges, and were lost in the fight at Keynton, and for his good service and the cureing of his wounds that he rec[eive]d there, according to an order of the house of Com[m]ons herevnto annexed and for soe doeing this shall be yo[u]r warrant dat 23o Marcii 1642.
