Att the Com[m]ittee by ordinance of Parliam[en]t for Heref[ord] Glouc[este]r &c the Nynth day of September Anno D[omi]ni 1648.

Whereas it hath beene formerly thought fitt & ordered by this Com[m]ittee that Ales Mawd widow whose husband was slaine in the Parliam[en]ts service should have eighteene pence Weekly payd vnto her by the late Tre[asure]rs of this Com[m]ittee. It is ordered that Maior Thomas Blayney the present Tre[asure]r to this Com[m]ittee doe contineue payment of the said weekly sum[m]e vnto her towards the reliefe & mainteynance of her & her children. And doe also pay vnto her Nyneteene shillings six pence for thirteene weekes arrears of the same allowance due to her vpon the viijth day of this moneth.
