The first certificate for Rowland Prytherch of Wrexham, Denbighshire, 10 July 1660

These are to certifie all whom it may Concerne that Rowland Prytherch of the Com[itatu] of Denbigh in the principallitie of wales, came into his Ma[jes]ties service aboue Twelue monethes since and that he continued the service of a Com[m]on Souldier vnder the Comaunde of Capt[ain] Robinson in Collonell Salisburies Regiment vntill the siege of Reading where he was shott w[i]th a Cannon Bullett in defence thereof, whereby he hath quite lost the vse of owne of his hands; In testimonie of the truth hereof we haue herevnto put our hands
