These are to Certifie all whome it may concerne, That the Bearer hereof Thomas Wayte Gent did faithfully serve his late Ma[jes]tie of blessed memory and adventured his life and fortune in the late warrs against the Tirannicall powers, wherein hee was dangerously wounded And upon his Ma[jes]ties Accompt, he hee hath beene a very great Sufferer, And that the said Thomas Wayte hath allwayes kept himselfe firme to the principles of the Church of England wherein hee was Educated, All w[hi]ch wee humbly Certifie the ninthenth day of December 1664.
