Wee doe certify that William Turner the bearrer heare of hath serued in his Ma[jes]ti[e]s seruice in the warse warres vnder the Lo[rd] Hopton wherein hee hath receiued maney dangerous woonds Whereby hee is vnfit for laboure wherefore wee thought fitt to recomend him to yo[u]r Charity that hee may haue a pention In yo[u]r Countie by whome w[hi]ch y[o]u will oblige those that haue knowne his p[er]son and seruices to his late Ma[jes]tie who are yo[u]r humble seruants
