The certificate for William Thamason of Wimblington, Isle of Ely, 17 July 1662

Wee the Inhabytants of Wimblington w[i]thin ye p[ar]ish of Doddington in the Isle of Elye and County of Cambridg[e] and Severall others whose Names are hearunder signed doe by these presents humbly Certifie on ye beehalfe of o[u]r Nighbor William Thamason that Since hee hath benn an Inhabitant amoungst us hath beenn a verry Great Sufferer for being in his Ma[jes]tys Service: K[ing] Charles ye first of Blessed Memmory in being Several times Imprisoned and his Goods Taken awaye by ye late Usurpers power and therefore much Impoverished and hath not a sufficient Livelyhood Left him and that hee hath not Rec[ei]ved any requitall Since this his New Ma[jes]tys happy return.
Witness our hands this Eighteneth day of Julye 1662.
