The certificate for William Target of Tisbury, Wiltshire, 3 June 1661

We whose names are herunto subscribed do hereby certify of our certaine knowledge, that William Target of Tisbury in the County of Wilts[hire] labourer being in the late warr a Soldier for his late Majesty of blessed memory, at the siege of Warder-Castle had by a musket shott the Cannon-bone of his neck greivously broken; & that he hath suffred imprisonment for his said Majestyes cause, In witnesse of the truth wherof wee haue subscribed our names this third day of June A[nn]o D[omin]i 1661.
