Whereas one Thomas Mann of Cawood who had a penc[i]on of Four pounds yearly giuen him for his Life is now Lately dead Wee therefore doe Recom[m]end vnto you one W[illia]m Robinson of Ryther Gent[leman] who is now in a very Low Condic[i]on and has been knowen to be very faithfull in his Ma[jes]ties seruice in ye Late vnhappy Warrs and as yett neu[er] Rec[eive]d any Gratuity. And alsoe desiring yt he may be admitted a penc[i]on[e]r instead of the s[ai]d Thomas Mann of keeping ye same allowance [illegible] Forty Forty shillings p[er] annum and to haue twenty shillings allowed him.
