Wee whose names are subscribed inhabitants of the Parrish of Midlewich in the County of Chester doe Certify on the behalf of the bearer hereof William Minshall of our s[ai]d Parrish that hee hath been always a true and Faithfull Subject For his Ma[jes]tie And that hee hath been a souldier in his ma[jes]ties Armie For many yeares And Further wee Certify that hee hath not receiued nor had any pension or reward For or towards his good service to our knowledge in our County of Chester witnesse our hands the thirteenth day of October in the year of our lord god 1662.
