Wee whose names are herevnto Subscribed doe by these pr[e]sents certifie all whom it may concerne that the bearer hereof William Hoult of Crewett Lanes in the County of Chester was A trooper in his Maiesties service King Charles the first of Famous memory for the space of fower yeares and A halfe vnder the Command of S[i]r Thomas Aston of Aston in the said County of Chester Barronett and Collonell to A Regiment of horse And never received any paye for his said service hee Therefore humbly Entreates to bee releiued in that case and hee and wee shall pray &c
