Wee the Inhabitants of Bugbrooke, whose names are here underwritten, doe humbly certifie the Hon[ou]r[a]ble Bench of his Majesties Justices of the Peace, for this County of North[amp]ton[shire]; that John Pilgrim of this Parish, (who for his true and faithfull service in the army of K[ing] Charles the 1st of blessed Memory receivd a Pension) is lately deceased: and hath left behinde him a distressed Widdow, with six small Children; having Nothing wherewithall to maintaine them, unless yo[u]r Worsh[ip]s out of yo[u]r abundant goodness, shall be pleasd to grant her a continuance of the said Pension; which is the most humble suit on her behalfe, and Petition of
