The certificate for Tyder Davies of Wrexham, Denbighshire, 7 February 1663

We whose names are herevnto subscribed doe certifye that the Bearer hereoff Tyder Dauies hath faythfully serued his late Ma[jes]ty in the late troubles; and hath constantly continued loyall and hath benne alwayes ready to expresse his loyalty, particularly in the buisenesse off Cheshire vnder S[i]r Thomas Myddelton; he hath receiued many wounds in his Ma[jes]ty’s seruice, and is very poore, beinge not able to mainteine himselfe his wife and Childeren; vpon these considerations we doe present him as a fitt object of Charity well deservinge a Pension. Dated this 7th February 1662/3.
