The certificate for Trooper George Murray, Richard Graves’s Regiment, 3 March 1648 to 9 March 1649

These are to Certify whome it may Concern That ye Bearer hereof, George Murray hath faithfully serued ye State in Actuall seruice as Trooper in Adiut[an]t Generall Flemings Troope in Col[one]l Grevis Regim[en]t in the Army of his Ex[cellen]cie the Lord Generall Fairfax from the 15th of September 1645 vnto the 29th day of December 1646 duering all w[hi]ch tyme hee faithfully p[er]formed ye trust reposed in him and brought in his horse & Armes into the said Troope w[hi]ch horse was killed att ye last seidge before Oxford, where himselfe was alsoe sore wounded & Maimed, by reason whereof hee is disinabled to follow his former Calling whereby to subsist In witness whereof I haue herevnto sett my hand this 3rd day of March 1647.
