The certificate for Tristram Handford of Alverdiscott, Devon, 10 March 1663

Wee whose names are subscribed Justices of the Peace have examined the truth of the certificate hereunto annexed and doe find the partie to be indigent & in want of Releife, wee therefore order that you paye unto the said Tristram Handford 40 s. out of the stock in your hands for maimed souldiers for his present reliefe untill the next Generall Sessions held for this County when hee may be further ordered a pension.
