I being formerly Coronett to Col[onel] Phillipp Welby of his Troope doe Certifie That Thomas Witters of Elme w[i]thin the Isle of Ely Gent[leman] was a souldier under Col[onel] Welby in his Troope And therein soe long as that Troope continued together behaved himself loyall, faithfull, valiant, and diligent in his duty.
