We are desyred to craue your assistance for a pore man, whoe is disenabled in the Parliaments seruice, as by a certificate vnder Leiutenant Colonell Bodly his hand appeareth, who assureth vs, hee was in all seruices a very honest and deseruing man, therefore the more to be cosidered in this time of his necessitie, the which if you shall be pleased to doe, by an Order from Sessions to com[m]and the Treasurer for maymed souldiers with in our p[ar]ts to pay vnto him fortie shillings p[e]r Ann[um] quarterly, we shall thereby be exceedingly engaged to you who are
