The certificate for Thomas Peachy of Blackmore, Essex, 25 February 1678

Vpon ye Request of Thomas Peachy of ye Parrish of Blakemore in ye County of Essex: Labourer These may Certifie that ye said Thomas Peachy was at the Leagure of Colchester, in ye late Kings service: Charles of Blessed memory under ye Comand of ye Honourable Henry Farr Colonell, in ye Company of Steven Smith, and there was faith full, in the discharge of his duty, & in ye said service received severall hurts, w[hi]ch hath in a great measure disabled him, for the getting of a present subsistence. The said Peachy his Continuance was for ye whole space & time of ye Leagure.
